PRO Getting Started

A tour of the PRO dashboard

Overview, Health, Issues, Payments, Performance and Recommendations: what each screen shows and where its numbers come from.

With an active license, Commerce Health PRO adds seven screens under Commerce Health. Use the tab bar at the top to move between them, and the switch at the top right to choose a Dark or Light theme (your choice is remembered).

Overview

  • Monitoring status. A banner that tells you whether PRO is checking your store: active, just started, delayed, or waiting for its first check. See Monitoring status and the activity feed.
  • Four 24-hour tiles. Monitoring cycles, checks completed, warnings and critical issues over the last 24 hours.
  • Checkout Health Score with its change since yesterday and a 14-day trend. See Understanding your Checkout Health Score.
  • Completed Checkouts (24H) and Avg. Checkout Duration. These count payments that WooCommerce reported as complete in the last 24 hours, and the average time from order creation to that confirmation. Bank transfer, cheque and cash on delivery are normally not counted, because they don’t report a completed payment.
  • Open Issues. The number of issues that are currently active.
  • What PRO did for you. A short activity list from the last 7 days.

Health

Seven score bars: Security, Performance, Checkout, Payments, Shipping, Plugins and Theme. Each bar starts at 100 and loses a fixed amount for every active issue assigned to it: Critical 40, High 25, Medium 12, Low 4. The bar can’t go below 0. This is a coarser signal than the Checkout Health Score, which uses its own weights.

Bar What feeds it
Security The free plugin’s Security checks (for example WordPress version).
Performance The free plugin’s Performance checks (object cache, autoloaded options).
Checkout Checkout Configuration, Coupon Validity, and JavaScript error issues.
Payments Payment Gateways, Payment Gateway Configuration, and Payment Gateway Monitoring and Stuck Payments issues.
Shipping Shipping Configuration and Shipping Validation.
Plugins Plugin Updates and Plugin Conflict issues.
Theme Theme Health.
Good to knowIn this version, issues from Core Web Vitals monitoring, and findings from the free plugin’s Reliability, Database, Configuration and other Commerce checks, do not change a Health bar. They still appear on the Issues and Recommendations screens. The Health screen reads at most the 200 most recent active issues.

Issues

Every active issue from the free plugin’s scans and PRO’s monitors in one list, with severity filter chips. Click a row for the full explanation.

Payments

A table per payment gateway with Gateway, Avg. Response, Failure Rate and Status. It lists only gateways that had checkout activity in the last 60 minutes. See Payment Gateway Monitoring.

Performance

Your checkout’s real-world Core Web Vitals. See Checkout Performance.

Recommendations

Open issues ranked by estimated revenue impact. See Recommendations.

History

The Checkout test, the 25 most recently seen issues with when each first appeared and cleared, and the last 50 monitor checks. See History and the Checkout test.

PRO settings and PRO license

PRO adds two screens to the Commerce Health menu. PRO license holds your license key, its status and the Deactivate button. PRO settings (Commerce Health → PRO settings) holds everything you can change:

  • Continuous Diagnostics: how often the automatic scan runs. See Continuous Diagnostics.
  • Weekly Summary Email: turn it on or off, or send a preview to your alert recipients. See Weekly summary email.
  • Issue Emails: the lowest severity PRO emails you about (High and above by default). See Issue email alerts.
  • Monitoring Log: download the numbers each monitor looked at. See Monitoring log and tuning alerts.
  • Preview PRO email design sends a sample alert, marked as a test, to your alert recipients (To and CC).

For every default threshold in one place, see PRO thresholds reference. To understand what PRO cannot see, read What PRO can and cannot detect.
